Vendor will be expected to provide cleaning and custodial services, including but not limited to, those described in Specification A and as follows: 1. Such services will include, but are not limited to planning, organizing, coordination, and directing and training of custodial staff. The vendor will maintain continuous availability of trained and experienced staff, managers and technical support. Services will be provided in accordance with the highest standards of professionalism, skill, workmanship, and applicable trade practices, and shall conformto all applicable codes and regulations. 2. Identify services to be performed by employees and those to be performed by subÂcontractors. The vendor may be fully capable of performing the proposed services within its own resources and may not assign, transfer, or sublet the contract or any portion thereof to others with the prior written consent of the Detroit Police Department. 3. The City will have input and final approval in the selection of on-site staff to be assigned to each facility. The City will retain the right to request the vendor to replace assigned staff, manager, or subcontractor for whatever reason the City deems sufficient cause. 4. Basic services may be required on Legal Holidays. Basic services consist of those custodial activities necessary to provide for the scheduled activities of occupants. 5. Limited exterior cleaning as indicated in Specification A, Cleaning and Custodial Responsibilities and is limited to entrances, steps, landings, plazas, and 10 feet of sidewalks at entrances and exits located adjacent to the facilities (or larger areas when indicated in the specifications). 6. Special requests and deep cleaning may be required, with prior notice.
