All cutting and payment unit boundary paint lines are to be painted by the contractor in the approximate locations as shown on the map. VDU 45 (PU 1) - Cut all deciduous trees over 2" DBH and all conifers over 4" DBH. Leave all white pine over 18" DBH. Exclude any open bog or extremely wet areas. Also retain any patches of immature spruce. Treatment size may vary after layout. VDU 51 (PU’s 2 & 3) - Cut all deciduous over 2" DBH and all conifers over 4" DBH.
