Specifications include, but are not limited to: Stand 14 (PU 2) - Clearcut all species except cedar and hemlock. Leave 3-5% retention in pockets. Leave mature aspen in the red line when possible. Size may change upon prep completion. Stand 18 (PU 3) - Clearcut all species, except leave all hemlock. In addition, leave all cedar on the landscape, and where cedar density precludes cutting of other species, leave as a retention pocket. Also leave all dense submerchantable pockets of balsam fir. Scattered cedar could be harvested at a higher cost as needed. Put in 3-5% retention pockets. Size may change after sale prep. Stand 27 (PU 4) - Clearcut all species except cedar. Leave 3-5% for retention pockets. Size may vary after sale prep is complete. Stand 28 (PU 5) - Clearcut. Leave one white pine tree per acre. Stand 46 (PU 1) - Clearcut all species. No retention due to small acreage. Leave mature aspen in the red line. Size may change upon sale prep.
