Specifications include, but are not limited to: Stand 14 (M9/8.4 acres) - Management Objective All Aged Northern Hardwoods (Mark to Cut) Follow the Complete Marker and Prioritize selection of trees in the following order: 1) Target Basal Area is 80 with an acceptable range of 70-90 BA. 2) Release suitable crop trees, Refer to the Complete Marker for crop tree specifications. 3) All merchantable spruce and fir are designated for harvest and do not require orange marks. 4) Favor to leave minor component species leaving any hemlock and favoring to leave Yellow Birch. 5) Remove high-risk and poor-quality trees. 6) Maintain target Basal Area. 7) Create regeneration gaps following the guidelines in the Complete Marker favoring areas of existing Northern Hardwood species composition. 8) Leave future snags for wildlife trees.
