Specifications include, but are not limited to: Park Specification for Snow Fence removal: Contractor to coordinate date and time of sand removal around fence with Park Manager/Supervisor. Contractor will consult with Park Manager/Supervisor on the method and demonstrate for final approval. Snow fence is to be removed by the contractor in a manner that avoids excessive damage to the snow fence. Removed fence shall be rolled up (as tightly as possible) and stacked neatly in the north parking lot for removal by park staff. ; Park Specifications for Sand Removal: Sand relocation shall be executed throughout the Lake Michigan Unit of Holland State Park; including the Entrance/Exit (including the turn-around and fish dump pad), Channel walkway (including the outdoor classroom and benches), Parking areas, Activity Courts, Concession Building, Beach Campground and Picnic Areas. Contractor shall start with the entrance area, Beach Campground and Channel Picnic Area. Miss Dig must be contacted by the contractor before any work is performed allowing adequate time for buried utilities to be marked. The exact dates for sand relocation will be determined by the Park Supervisor prior to the contractor starting sand relocation. Sand to be relocated to the main Beach or Channel Picnic area, as designated by Park Supervisor.
