2.1. SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED The primary objective of the Class A CDL training program is to: • Equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain a Class A CDL. • Ensure students are proficient in operating Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, tankers, flatbeds, and Tow Trucks. • Ensure the students are trained on the pre/post trip inspection on the commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, tankers, flatbeds, and tow trucks, before and after operation. • Prepare students for the written and road tests required by the Michigan Secretary of State (SOS) Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). • Provide safety and compliance training that meets FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
