Mattawan Schools is soliciting bids to replace carpet and wall base in the following areas: • Mattawan High School Classrooms, Student Activity Offices and several ancillary spaces as depicted on the attached floor plan(s). o Carpet shall be Interface Cordoba Colores, Style 1461602500; color Agua; install pattern to match previous installation (looks to be 1/4 turn, but bidder to verify). o Wall base shall be Roppe 4” high vinyl cove, C40C81P100-023, color Black, 1/8” thick. Provide 120’ coiled lengths. Base shall be installed using the manufacturer’s recommended adhesive. • Mattawan Middle School Tech Department Offices as depicted on the attached floor plan(s). o Carpet shall be Interface Student Council, Style 19BH202500; color Mesa (Maha); install pattern to match previous installation (looks to be 1/4 turn, but bidder to verify). NOTE: The District has attic stock of this carpet which shall be used in these offices. Purchase of this carpet should not be included in the bid. o Wall base shall be Roppe 4” high vinyl cove, C40C81P100-023, color Black, 1/8” thick. Provide 120’ coiled lengths. Base shall be installed using the manufacturer’s recommended adhesive. Scope: • Project includes removal of existing flooring and installation of new flooring and rubber base: o Demolition shall include removal of current carpet and base in all rooms to receive new. Contractor is responsible for the removal of all old flooring/base from the site and shall provide a dumpster if necessary. o Project includes preparation of floors and walls as needed for new flooring finishes. o All furniture will be removed from the project site by the Owner prior to installation. o Contractor to follow manufacturer’s written instructions for the install of both carpet tile and base. o Owner would like 64 boxes of additional (Cordoba Colores) carpet tile as attic stock, to be stored on site. • All work shall be warrantied for a 1-year minimum and product shall carry a manufacturer’s warranty.
