Celebrating 171 years in 2025, the annual Ingham County Fair offers something for everyone including hundreds of exhibits, exciting grandstand events, the spectacular midway, the free family fun zone, daily cooking contests and more. At present, there is no permanent grandstand on site. The Fair Board rents portable bleachers and chairs that can accommodate approximately 1,400 per event. The plans to construct a new grandstand are underway and federal funding has been awarded. It is likely the grandstand will be constructed by 2027, but possibly 2026. The Fair draws approximately 30,000-40,000 people over the six-day event.
