Specifications include, but are not limited to: Building Security Services for our Detroit Center. Patrol campus buildings and groups. Prevent and identify incidents of a criminal nature, fire safety, security issues, along with parking and traffic issues. Respond to calls for service related to possible criminal activity, investigate incidents and report activity to appropriate unit or department. Escort individuals off campus where appropriate. Investigate complaints made by faculty, staff, students and visitors. Respond to calls involving medical emergencies. Administer first aid and/or call for additional assistance as needed. Assist area police, local fire and rescue personnel with incidents on the property. Provide security services as directed for special events. Set up traffic/parking barricades. Provides escorts and special transports as needed.
