Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 Assist the BAW in accomplishing the following tasks: 3.1.1 Gather necessary and relevant data to develop Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic, Time-based (S.M.A.R.T.) goals for this project and present to the BAW and Board for approval. 3.1.2 Lead the Broadband Communications project and deliver results for Board approved S.M.A.R.T. goals. 3.1.3 Consider partners, technical professionals, and other stakeholders to serve as an advisory resource to the project team. 3.1.4 Consider plans, proposals, legislative initiatives and other resources to establish and implement plans for increased accessibility countywide. 3.2 Provide the Following Essential Functions: 3.2.1 Support a newly created Broadband Communications project and oversee the project, institute good governance, and cultivate good operational practices adapting to the project’s needs. 3.2.2 Liaison with Community Broadband Groups generally to create a scope for the project that meets their goals as well as the needs of the community. 3.2.3 Support and analyze the large-scale community data across a designated area of Allegan County to determine service needs and geographical priorities, address concerns and encourage maximum uptake of the project’s services. 3.2.4 Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers and other reports and updates as required. Report these periodically to the Project’s Reference Management Team. 3.2.5 Engage with relevant partners across all sectors to promote and expand the services offered by the project.
