Specifications include, but are not limited to: For bridge structures, remove and dispose of all timber debris located within an envelope spanning from ordinary high-water mark (OHWM) of each channel bank and ten feet from each bridge fascia. If there is a buildup of debris around a substructure unit that extends outside of this envelope, remove all the debris surrounding that substructure unit. For culvert structures, remove and dispose of all timber debris near the opening (and between barrels) and outlet of the culvert and from within the culvert. Some vegetation removal may be necessary to access the debris and shall be included in the bid price. The Contractor shall attempt to extract debris from the waterway rather than allowing it to float downstream. Extracted debris shall not be stockpiled on the road, bridge or within the highway clear zone. All debris collected becomes the ownership of the Contractor and must be hauled away from the site within 14 calendar days of removal, or within 30 days from date of Contract authorization, whichever comes sooner.
