1. Complete site related and demolition work as shown on the drawings and as specified in the following sections: 01 5723 Temporary Stormwater Pollution Controls 02 4119 Selective Demolition 12 2413 Site Furnishings 31 0000 Earthwork 32 1216 Asphalt Paving 32 9219 Turf and Grasses 33 4200 Stormwater Conveyance 2. All necessary surveying and staking for this contractor’s work. The Construction Manager will supply building control points and establish a benchmark. 3. Responsible for final connection of trench drain to existing storm water. 4. Applicable fees, permits, inspections, etc. as required for the completion of the work in this bid category. 5. Sleeves indicated on the drawings. 6. Slab sand pavement subbase construction per details. Gravel subbase to be graded and compacted to +/-0.05 foot. Final grading and proof rolling are the responsibility of asphalt paving or concrete contractor. This contractor is responsible for compaction and/or correction of any areas that do not pass tests. 7. Responsible for keeping public roads clean of construction traffic dirt and debris. 8. Excavation, bedding materials, piping, structures, backfill, compaction, etc. as required for all underground utility construction, all to within 5 feet of the building unless noted otherwise. 9. Temporary tree protection measures. 10. Temporary inlet protection measures. 11. Strip, stockpile and respread topsoil to machine grade +/-0.10 foot. 12. Site related demolition, including but not limited to, pavements, site walls, utility structures, curb and gutter, trees, utility structures piping, etc. 13. Soil erosion permit and erosion control. 14. Maintain and control grades to facilitate the run-off of site surface water. 15. Supply and maintain barricading as required for the work of this contractor. 16. Excavation, over excavation and controlled fill for building foundations installed by the concrete contractor, including proper disposal, at an off-site location, of unsuitable soils. 17. Implement and maintain all BMP's deemed necessary by either the Certified Storm Water Operator or the Agency responsible for jurisdiction of Protection Act 451. 18. Responsible to follow the most stringent requirements between the architectural specifications and those listed in the recommendations of the geotechnical report. 19. Include all landscaping topsoil, overseeding, touch ups of work and access work of existing grass areas. 20. Finish grade all topsoil, seeded and landscaped areas, including removal of stones, dirt clumps, sticks and weeds. 21. Maintenance of plantings for one (1) year period after substantial completion 22. Coordination with project superintendent for protection of all underground private utilities. No additional costs as a result of a lack of coordination will be accepted. 23. Subcontractor must coordinate its work with the work of other subcontractors at the site to eliminate conflicts. No additional costs as a result of a lack of coordination will be accepted. Exclude: 1. Testing will be provided for and paid for by the Owner. 2. Excavation and backfill mechanical and electrical trades. 3. Handrails as noted in spec section 12 9300 handrails.
