The County of Calhoun is requesting Statements of Qualifications from benefits consultants and agents who specialize in providing technical assistance in managing health and wellbeing programs, specifically seeking those firms with experience in public sector and unionized environments. Additional preference will be given for firms with demonstrated experience related to an on-site employer health and wellness clinic. Calhoun County currently provides flexible benefit program to employees that includes but is not limited to medical; prescription; dental; vision; life; accidental death and dismemberment; short-term and long-term disability; flexible spending and health savings accounts; voluntary benefit plans, such as life, disability, and accident insurance; wellness program; and a near-site employer sponsored health and wellness clinic.
