Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Birmingham Public Schools (the “Owner”) is requesting bids to replace the existing ONSSI-based video surveillance system at the two high schools and expand to include the remaining district buildings. 1. Data cabling and network switches will be provided by others. Data cables will be brought to the accessible ceiling near the camera location, this contractor to provide penetrations/conduit/raceway to extend cable from nearest accessible ceiling to the camera location. B. Replace the existing building entrance intercoms with new video intercoms, and add a 2nd location at West Maple Elementary. Install a BluePoint Alert Systems (or equivalent) in each main office. Refer to the equipment spreadsheet for quantities. 1. Allow for alerts to be initiated from BPS office staff computers or manual pull stations. 2. Initiate communications with emergency responders and district administration. 3. Integrate with the existing Vanderbilt access control system to lockdown the main office suite 4. Integrate with the existing Vocia PA system to broadcast recorded alert messages 5. Integrate with the new IP cameras to allow responders and staff to view live camera footage on IP cameras through the command and control applications.
