Selected contractor(s) supply and install automatic door operators for the existing main entrance/exit doors, including interior vestibule doors when applicable, and include wireless actuators with transmitters and receiver. The electrical power to operator area will be provided by MDOS prior to the installation of the automatic door operators. The location of the operators is to be determined by the operator installer and the Michigan Department of State Property Analyst responsible for each branch office. All installations must adhere to all applicable Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines. The State would like a 4-year contract to complete all installations with appropriate levels of service to respond to requests for service or repair. Product Specifications The Contractor must provide a proposal that matches the following specifications: Must provide ADA compliant door operators that include the appropriate number of actuators that transmit to interact with receiver mounted on or near the doors. The openers must be surface mounted above the door, provide low energy slow speed operation, and must operate a single door at a time. Some vestibules don’t have double doors, but 3 or 4 individual doors. Installation of one (single door) automatic door operator for the existing main entrance/exit doors.
