A. Coordinate with LTBB Tribal Court in appointment of services. B. Attending all Family Preservation Program (FPP) client meetings, team meetings, and court hearings either in person or virtual means via Zoom. C. Meet with clients, FPP team members and other service providers on behalf or in conjunction with clients either in person or virtual means via Zoom. D. Perform all duties typical of those involved in representing clients as a court appointed attorney; in addition to required participation in FPP team meetings, meeting with caseworkers, and meeting with client service providers. E. Write reports as required on the welfare of the child(ren) involved in a case, which at a minimum should include an update on the children’s progress in placement, therapy, school, parent contact and recommendations related to the children’s continued placement, contact with parents or guardians and services for the child(ren) F. Attend a minimum of two trainings or conferences annually which are identified by the Family Preservation Program Project Director. Travel costs associated with the training will be paid by the Family Preservation program. G. Must be able to assist in the development and improvement of policies and procedures for client manuals and program requirements and revisions to the relapse phase of the program. H. Must be willing to assist clients in related legal matters including but not limited to restoration of driving privileges, housing, show causes, and program related hearings. I. Estimated time commitments for this contract would be approximately 4-6 hours per week. J. Comply with all applicable statutes.
