Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work includes the removal of new snow accumulation from the City’s sidewalks and DASH bus stops when the snow has reached a depth of 2 or more inches to within ½-inch of existing hard packed snow and ice. The Contractor shall be notified by the City’s Project Manager when snow removal is required to be performed by the Contractor. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, and shall be responsible for obtaining the necessary snowplow license necessary to complete the Assisted Sidewalk Snowplowing project as specified herein. Prior to beginning snow removal operations under the contract, the successful bidder shall inspect the areas where snow removal operations will be conducted, and place delineation stakes to identify areas of meandering pavement edges or locations of obstacles that may be visually obscured by accumulated snow.
