• Collaborate with ArtPrize staff and the City of Grand Rapids to secure and effectively manage the exhibition space. • Recruit Veterans from Kent County to participate in the program. • Connect Veterans with art equipment vendors and supplies. • Mentor each Veteran selected for the program to develop, create, display, and communicate ideas through artistic mediums. • Preparing and implementing a communication plan to publicize the program that includes media collaboration, press releases, communications with local officials, and community outreach. • Develop an opening celebration and ceremony on the first day of ArtPrize 2025. • Provide sufficient staffing and management during the installation of all artwork, all public exhibition dates and the removal of the installations at the end of ArtPrize. • Manage the budget for all aspects of the initiative, including outreach, communication, supplies and site management. • Maintain communication with KCVS staff throughout the planning and execution of the initiative, including securing KCVS approval of the exhibition location.
