Specifications include, but are not limited to: replace our existing WinPak access controls solution that includes software, access controllers, and card readers hardware. Currently, there are 16 doors connected to this system and we will be adding access controls to 10 doors for a total of 26 doors. The new doors will need electronic strikes added to work with the solution. Also, we will consider replacing existing doors maglocks with electronic strikes as an optional consideration as outlined below. Another optional consideration will be interior classroom doors.; • Cloud or on-premises solutions are acceptable; • Access Controllers: o Ethernet port; o Controller must be able to work without communication to the access control software/server if there was a communication issue.; o Supports entry delays and exit delays; o Supports the necessary readers, inputs, and outputs needed based on specifications in the RFP; o All controllers shall be centrally installed in the IDF locations in a managed cabinet(s); o Minimum of 2-year warranty. 5-year is preferred; • Access Controller Managed Cabinets: o LifeSafety power managed cabinet(s) or comparable installed in each IDF room that will support the necessary door controllers with the following minimum specifications: ▪ 120 VAC Input Power; ▪ Distributed Outputs; ▪ Remote Network Monitoring & Control that includes live voltage, remote battery load testing, output power cycling and abnormal operation alert, system/ac fault reporting, email and SNMP trap notification; • Card Readers: o Multi-technology card readers that can support HID iCLASS DL, DESFire, MiFARE, and Mobile Devices (i.e. Bluetooth, NFC); o Outdoor card readers shall be weatherproof; o Minimum of 2-year warranty. 5-year is preferred; • Software/Service Management: o Web based management is preferred; o Ability to create calendar(s) that defines the days and times the doors should be unlocked/locked or accept card reads from user access groups; o Ability to schedule special events or holidays that may deviate from the normal calendar(s)/schedule(s); o Ability to configure access groups to associate users to with varied levels of security.
