Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Marshall is seeking proposals from firms qualified and experienced in designing, implementing and supporting physical access control systems. This will replace an existing control system in three buildings and includes the installation and expansion of the system to an additional building to integrate a system to be use at all City buildings. We are looking for project management services utilizing best practices including a formal project plan, communications plan, and regular status meetings. At the completion of the project, the City will have a keycard access system that is easy to administer and includes the current functionality along with additional functionality to grow the system in the future. Hardware: 1. Utilize existing hardware and devices where possible 2. Current access point totals and estimated additions a. Marshal Regional Law Enforcement Building 38 Current, 10 Additional b. Marshall City Hall 1 Current, 15 Additional to be added c. Marshall PSB 4 Current, 4 Additional to be added d. Marshall Powerhouse 0 Current, 8 additional 3. Utilize existing hardware and devices where possible 4. Readers must accept PIN code and keycard determined by location with some 8 areas requiring pin code and keycard access. 5. Controllers must be expandable for future growth 6. New system should integrate/transition easy to new cards Software: 1. Software must be compatible with Microsoft operating systems. 2. Server based software should be compatible with the latest versions of Microsoft. 3. Browser based user interface compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Edge 4. Software must allow for schedules for programming doors, gates and for Holidays and special events. 5. Allow to create customized reports and scheduled reports 6. Ability to have multiple users with differentlevels of security in software 7. Ability to enable and disable credentials in real time 8. Must have eventlogging for real-time analysis as well has historical events 9. Have the ability to remotely open and close doors, gates etc., in real-time 10. Allow ability for external software to access database for creating custom reports
