Specifications include, but are not limited to: Phase 1 - Removal and Replacement of existing interior access controlled swinging hollow metal security doors with new automatic sliding hollow metal frames and doors located within the Control Center building 3C. Replacement work includes hollow metal doors and frames, door hardware, security glazing, intercom, removal/replacement and refinishing of floor and wall finishes where necessary, construction of a temporary security wall, electrical panel replacement, security system coordination, ceiling work necessary to install temp wall and new framing and millwork. The work is to occur in a secured environment and specific protocols and procedures are necessary to follow. Phase 2 – Includes replacement of existing exterior security and non-security doors in various correctional center buildings. In one location a n supported concrete slab is required to be installed in addition to the new doors and frame. Four of the opening replacements are to occur wit detention buildings. Four of the replacements occur in non-secured areas.
