Specifications include, but are not limited to: STATEMENT OF WORK Repairs shall be provided on vendor’s site in an authorized facility with accepted methods and manufacturer’s parts. Vendors shall also provide authorized repairs to satellite components under license. Vendor shall supply on request OEM parts for City of Detroit vehicles. Vendor shall supply the City of Detroit with a listing and provide authorized repair service of other brands of components that the bidding vendor may provide under license. Vendor shall utilize manufacturer’s warranty, emission control or other warranties before billing to the City of Detroit for repairs. The vendor shall provide a written estimate of repairs and have all repairs pre-approved by the City of Detroit. Description of repair services include but are not limited to the following: SERVICE/REPAIR PUMPING ENGINES Engine repair, non-warranty, Cummins, Detroit Diesel and Caterpillar Allison transmission service and repair Brake service and repair Steering service and repair Suspension service and repair Body support system service and repair Fire pump service and repair, Waterous, Hale and/or Darley certification required Transfer case service and repair, Waterous, Hale certification required Roll up door service and repair Monitor, fittings, adapters and nozzles service and repair Plumbing service and repair Water valve service and repair Heating and Air Conditioning service and repair Electrical system and lighting service and repair Fuel system service and repair Front axle service and repair Rear differential service and repair Frame and cross member service and repair Glass service and repair Foam system service and repair Perform NFPA required pumping system testing AKA Pump test Service and repair of KUSSMAUL shore power systems
