An A-E design service is required to enable a construction project for the MILCON Project titled: MCCA KC-46 Add Alter Simulator Complex B35. Major work to be accomplished under this contract shall be in accordance with the DD 1391 for this project and ANG ETL 24-02, April 2024, and includes, but is not limited to: 1.3 All design modifications shall conform to the US Air Force Material Command Report - KC-46 AIRCREW TRAINING SYSTEM - FA8621-13-C-6247 - TRAINER FACILITIES REPORT Revision G. NOTE: This document cannot be distributed or exported. This is a controlled and classified document that is protected by federal law. This document contains all of the requirements for the use on this building for the KC46 and will only be provided to the contractor that is awarded this contract. 1.4 Add to and alter Building 35 by utilizing conventional design and construction methods to accommodate KC-46 simulators (including Weapon System Trainer (WST), Boom Operator Trainer (BoT), Fuselage Trainer (FuT), and outside covered staging areas and supporting training and administrative spaces. 1.5 Add to and alter Building 35 by utilizing conventional design and construction methods to accommodate KC-46 forward supply point functions. 1.6 Create a design for Building 35 as permanent construction in accordance with the DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1-200-01, General Building Requirements and UFC 1-200-02, High Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements. 1.7 Create a design for Building 35 where local materials and construction techniques shall be used where deemed cost effective. 1.8 This project will comply with DoD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per unified facilities criteria. 1.9 Special Requirements: Special foundations due to challenging soil conditions, facility within flood plain, and high-water table.
