Specifications include, but are not limited to:Area to be cleared of snow: Entire paved area and all sidewalks and egress and ingress to all entrances of the building. Also a clear path to dumpster if one is on site. 1. Vendor to remove snow upon the accumulation of 2 inches or more, or at the request of the office manager or representative. 2. Snow be removed no later than 8:00 a.m. the following business day after the snowfall: 3. Business hours: Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri, 9:am to 5:pm. Wed hours, 11:am to 7:pm. 4. Snow is to be stacked to allow access to vehicles. 5. Contractor is responsible for any damage done to Department of State office building, curbs, pavements, shrubs, etc., during plowing. 6. Vendor to salt any areas requested by the branch manager or designated representative. 7. Use of additional equipment such as a snow blower is included in cost of this contract. If it is necessary to use a front end loader for snow removal, agency will pay an additional charge. Prior to using a front end loader, vendor shall reasonably attempt to contact agency. 8. Exact number of services needed are unknown except contractor will be required to furnish all services as may be ordered during the contract period. The State IS NOT obligated to purchase a set amount of service. 9. The contractor must have equipment and personnel to adequately perform the specified service and in the event of mechanical breakdown of trucks or equipment will be expected to provide backup service to be performed as requested. 10. Work shall be performed to the satisfaction of the branch manager who approves invoices for payment. Invoice billings shall be rendered on a monthly basis.
