The Michigan Works! Association is looking for proposals to host the Michigan Works! 2028 User Group Forum. Specifications for this event are described on the following pages. Criteria for selection will include dates available, travel accessibility to location, competitive pricing, adequate function space and sleeping rooms. Please enclose the following information with your proposal: 1. Map of Facility 2. Menus with prices Qualifications I. Dates Requested: May 2nd& 3rd,2028 Space Requirements Key Below: • Indicates an item that must be present and mentioned Indicates an item you should clarify and address in your proposal. II. Space Requirements [from Tuesday,May 2at 10:00AM until Wednesday,May 3at 1:00PM) A. Workshop rooms/General Session room SEVENbreakout rooms set U Shape 20-40people each. These will be used TuesdayMay 2from 12:00pm until 5:00pm One extra meeting room for 120people which will serve as a small general session space. We prefer this to be able to be set in crescent rounds. This will be used for Tuesday reception and dinner as well as breakfast on Wednesdayand ageneral session which will run from 8:00AM – 12:00PM. In the Proposal: • List the name of each room in the proposed block, the room size and maximum number the room will hold for workshop rooms • Room rental charge for breakout/meeting space? B. Dinner Space Space to serve approximately 120guests’ dinner (buffet style) this will most likely lead to the Reception. C. Reception Space Space for 120people to network. Including Cash Bar option. In the Proposal: • Is there a room rental charge for this space? If so, what is the charge? • Where is this space located within your facility? III. Sleeping Rooms Requirements: MondayMay 1st: 10 rooms TuesdayMay 2nd: 100 rooms Participants will be responsible for their own reservations and room changes. In the Proposal: • List the single and double room rates you are prepared to offer andthe total number of sleeping rooms in your facility.
