The contractor is responsible for producing an aeronautical chart to provide current, safety critical data, and informational updates. The contractor shall use available current resources including Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), MDOT-Office of Aeronautics (AERO) and National Flight Data Digest (NFDD) data, etc. to ensure accurate and timely inclusion of data on the chart. Updated information includes, but is not limited to, airport and airway information; radio and navigation frequencies; airspace information; legends; military training routes; restricted, prohibited and special use airspace; terrain information; obstruction and other aviation safety information. The term of this contract is for three years, with two, one-year options to renew. General Requirements The contractor will be responsible for updating the chart and creating controlled airspace vignette and any other elements not furnished. All elements and information not furnished. All elements and information shall print in the same style, scale and colors as the U.S. Sectional Aeronautical Charts. The Contractor shall maintain a standard, common registration system to all films used in printing the chart and maintain the same registration standard throughout all updates, touchplates and overlays. The full State map content detail, type size and line weights shall generally adhere to US Government sectional Aeronautical Chart Specifications. Aeronautical information shall be portrayed in a manner similar to the U.S. Government Detroit, Chicago, Lake Huron, and Green Bay Sectional Aeronautical Charts published by FAA.
