Boyne City Main Street/Downtown Development Authority is seeking proposals from qualified companies for landscaping improvements to two separate downtown areas: one designated as the Fochtman Lot and the other as the Ray and Lake Lot (overhead views attached). These properties are used for public parking. The Fochtman Lot is located at the intersection of the south side of River Street and the west side of Park Street; bounded on the south by the Boyne River. The entrance is on River Street. The Ray and Lake Lot is located at the northeast corner of Lake Street and Ray Street, with an entrance on Ray Street. A successful bidder will consider the following: 1) The layout and purpose of the area being improved 2) Attached landscaping plans 3) All work to be completed by May, 31, 2026. Items to be provided by others: 1) Parking lot signage 2) Lighting 3) Parking lot extension on the south end of the lot 4) Trim work around the river’s edge 5) Finish sidewalk on south end of the lot to the adjoining lot to the west 6) Irrigation.
