A. Snow plowing shall be done anytime that there is a snow event. For purposes of this RFP, a “snow event” means an accumulation of 2 inches of snow or more at the Sites. B. Snow plowing cannot commence until 2 am and will continue until all Sites have been cleared. Should the snow continue to fall plowing can recommence the following morning at 2 am. C. Snow will be plowed to specific locations designated by the City where it will be piled until such time as the City’s Public Services Department removes it. Locations can be discussed or shown by contacting the Public Services Director. D. Snow cannot be piled where it will interfere with handicapped parking, sidewalks, or pedestrian traffic. E. Proposals are to be tabulated to show the cost of plowing per snow event according to certain conditions as set forth in the attached Proposal Sheet. F. Due to the variability and transient parking in the downtown Sites, the contractor will be required to come in to clear any snow that was not previously plowed because of parked vehicles.
