The work on the Lower Sandra Pond Dam Spillway Modification project consists of the following:
• Clearing and grubbing of vegetation adjacent to the spillway.
• Removal and resetting of riprap as to facilitate repairs.
• Raising of the spillway channel walls with cast-in-place concrete.
• Installation of a cast-in-place concrete upstream headwall at the primary spillway.
• Excavation, backfill, and regrading of the dam crest adjacent to the primary spillway.
• Underpinning of a downstream concrete wall at the primary spillway.
• Ancillary control of water and erosion/sediment control

The Town of Westborough, led by its DPW Department, is accepting sealed bids until 11am on Thursday June
19, 2025 at the DPW Office, 131 Oak St, Westborough MA 01581 for the Lower Sandra Pond Dam Spillway
Modifications. MARK ENVELOPE: BID FOR: IFB# 25-0500 LOWER SANDRA POND DAM SPILLWAY
MODIFICATIONS. No bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of sixty (60) days excluding Saturdays,
Sundays, and legal holidays after the date of the opening of the Bids. The successful bidder must complete the
construction project within 90 days of the Town achieving the maintenance drawdown in the impoundment
