Description

The Town of West Springfield, through its Department of Public Works, in accordance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30B, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the disposal of catch basin cleanings & street sweepings collected by the department’s maintenance operations. The contract will run July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 with 2 one-year extensions at the sole discretion of the Town.

Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project.

All Bids shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked: “IFB# 25-0042 Catch Basin Cleanings & Street Sweeping Disposal” and addressed to: Jaime Flores, Procurement Administrator, 26 Central Street, Suite 32, West Springfield, MA 01089. Sealed proposals will be received in the Law Department until 10:00 AM on May 21, 2025.
