0233005.01 - Pump Station 9 Replacement

Town of Hull, MA (Owner) invites Bidders to submit sealed Bids for Pump Station 9 Replacement, which includes: demolition and replacement of Pump Station 9, including demolition and replacement of the existing controls building and equipment, demolition of the existing dry pit and mechanical equipment, replacement of the existing wastewater wet well and pumps with submersible pumps, and construction of a new valve vault; and all materials, equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work.

The Work shall be substantially complete within 574 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time and completed and ready for final payment 602 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time.
• Mobilization to the Site shall occur approximately 4 months after the Notice to Proceed to allow Project schedules, shop drawings/submittals, and work plans to be prepared and submitted and to allow lead time for manufacture and delivery of components, material, and equipment.

The Project being bid is subject to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 44A-J. General Bidders must be certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for pumping stations.

Sub-Bidders must be DCAMM certified for their respective class of Work. Sealed Sub-Bids are required for the following classes of Work. roofing and flashing painting heating, ventilating and air-conditioning electrical work masonry work.

This Project is to be funded wholly or in part with monies made available through an EPA Community Grant and compliance with certain Federal provisions is required. The contents of these Bidding Documents do not necessarily reflect the views and policies of the Environmental Protection Agency, nor does the EPA endorse trade names or recommend the use of commercial products mentioned in the Bidding Documents.

General Bidders must submit the DCAMM Prime/General Certificate of Contractor Eligibility and the DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Sub-Bidders must submit the DCAMM Filed Sub-Bid Certificate of Contractor Eligibility and the DCAMM Sub-Bidder Update Statement.

Sub-Bids will be received until 1:00 p.m. local time on October 25, 2023
General Bids will be received electronically through BidNet until 10:00 a.m. local time on November 15, 2023.
