Specifications include, but are not limited to: On-site meeting with Engineer and Town Representative, prior to construction for coordination and implementation of the project. On-site meeting and coordination with the Town of Brewster Conservation Agent, prior to starting the project and in accordance with Exhibit E. Cut brush back as needed along edge of roadway to provide adequate access for construction vehicles and reconstruction of the roadway. Removal of trees as identified on the plans. Labor and materials required to cut and pulverize the existing pavement. Pulverization shall be 5 inches deep. Removal of all asphalt and stones larger than 2 inches. Install drainage facilities, as specified on the Plan. Install and grade three grassed swales and filter bed material. Supply all required clean sandy soil for backfill. All back fill material shall be installed in 6-inch lifts. Supply a two (2) inch layer of processed stone (3/4” aggregate max) over all of the proposed pavement within project area. Grade and compact base material. Grading shall include the mixture of the 2- inch layer of processed stone with the pulverized road material to complete the Road Base. Grading shall include matching the elevations of the existing driveway areas. Provide a minimum of 6 inches of road base material in all areas of the proposed roadway. Install 2 ½ inch layer (rolled) of MADOT Class 1 Bituminous Concrete Binder Course. Sweep and tack the roadway, prior to completing the final overlay paving. Install and roll 1 ½ inch (rolled) of MADOT Class 1 Bituminous Concrete Finish Course. Provide all driveways a 4 foot deep apron. Refer to plan for details and notes. Loam and seed disturbed areas along the entire length of the roadway shoulders and swales.
