The Town of Millis Water Department seeks a qualified media supplier and/or contractor to perform changeout of granular activated carbon (GAC) media and removal and regeneration of spent media for a contract term of 3 years. Volumes and quantities of the media are contained in the Contract Documents. The Town of Millis Water Department owns and operates water treatment plants which use GAC adsorption vessels to remove PFAS. In general, the work consists of the following: - Remove the existing spent GAC media in the specified vessels. - Provide virgin or reactivated GAC media to fill the specified filtration vessels in the quantities specified. - Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to perform the Work.
