Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) seeks proposals from vendors with experience delivering trauma-informed outreach, engagement, and referral services to homeless populations, especially with individuals who may be experiencing a substance use and/or co-occurring disorder and chronic homelessness. The primary goal of outreach and engagement services is to identify, recruit and engage homeless individuals in a continuum of services and interventions through active referrals and follow-up with supportive and necessary services. The primary population will be unsheltered individuals. However, this program can also identify, recruit and engage individuals who spend their days on the streets but are sheltered in the evening.
