Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall provide for the inspection, service, and replacement of portable fire extinguishers at University of Massachusetts ‐ Lowell owned and/or operated facilities on an as needed basis in accordance with the applicable National Fire Protection Association publication, FM Global Standards, and the Massachusetts Fire Code as contained in 527 CMR. Vendor shall be responsible to verify all quantities, sizes, and types of portable fire extinguishers in UMass‐Lowell Facilities Vendor to provide to UMass‐Lowell Office of Life Safety & Emergency Preparedness a complete inventory by specific location, extinguisher type, and size within 90 days of initial inspection and testing cycle being conducted updated annually upon completion of inspection cycle Vendor shall ensure all fire extinguishers are installed/maintained in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations, and applicable sections of 780 CMR, 527 CMR and applicable NFPA standards. Vendor shall be required to inspect, tag/certify, service and/or replace each fire extinguisher at least annually or more often as may be required by applicable Laws, Rules, Codes, or standards
