Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Division is seeking bids from commercial boat owners for planting contaminated quahogs harvested by other permitted hydraulic dredge vessels from portions of the Taunton River. Quahogs are to be evenly broadcasted from vessels to the ocean bottom at water depths ranging between 5 and 30 feet in Conditionally Approved waters within New Bedford municipal waters as directed by the New Bedford Shellfish Constable. Quahog planting may occur anytime between June 15th and December 31st. One or two commercial harvesters will deliver between 100 and 200 bushels of mixed quahogs per day using trailers to offloading sites as directed by the Shellfish Constable. Contracted vessel owners will be hired to offload the trailers and plant up to 4,500 bushels of quahogs annually in New Bedford waters;
