Specifications include, but are not limited to: The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (“MWRTA” or “Authority”) is seeking proposals from qualified respondents to provide Fixed Route Scheduling and Planning Software, Support and Service for use in planning the expansion and optimization of MWRTA fixed transit routes. The software platform must have the capability to assist the Authority in developing and optimizing its transit routes, conveying route changes to the public, and assisting in providing analysis of potential impacts of service changes, such as analysis required under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. §2000d et seq.). The resulting contract will be for a three year term commencing on 2/1/24, with an option to extend for two additional, one year periods, at the Authority’s sole discretion. The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any informality if deemed to be in the best interest of the Authority to do so.
