Specifications include, but are not limited to: The elevator monitoring interface should monitor elevator operational status, door open/closed status, running speed, action parameters such as traction voltage and current, safety circuit status, live voltage of the system motor, and other relevant, unmentioned fault logs. Vendors should host any elevator remote monitoring software, which should be accessible from a web-based, centralized management interface. ; The system / service should have its own method of transmitting data out of an elevator machine room but must not control or operate any part of the elevator per Massachusetts law. The system / service should generate alerts on at least the following failure conditions. Issues with updating Current operational status. Hardware/software/firmware failure. Issues with diagnostic reporting. Issues with network connectivity. ; The system / service must be able to differentiate between elevator parking and genuine faults. The MBTA has parking with all of our elevators. The monitoring system should retain historical data about a given elevator for the purposes of elevator reliability analysis and be able to export that data using an API, .csv export, and / or .xlsx export. PDF will not be considered an acceptable data export format.
