Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful bidder will furnish, install, test, provide training, deploy, maintain and service all hardware and software on bus and non-revenue vehicles including providing a full set up of the current fleet system in the Fuel Management System. Bidders are requested to propose project plan including installation timeline. The system must be robust in design and have the flexibility to expand in the future if required by the MBTA. The MBTA requires the FMS to be a TURNKEY project, that upon completion and acceptance will control and monitor all on-hand commodity inventories, commodity deliveries as well as the dispensing of other fluids from bulk storage tanks to vehicles.
