The Greylock Elementary School Project consists of the construction of a new two-story elementary school building of roughly, 73,600 gross square feet. The building will consist of classrooms, administrative offices, a gym, cafeteria, and media center. The building is designed as a structural steel frame structure, with wood and steel beams. The building envelope will include brick cavity wall, fiber cement and composite terracotta panels. The heating and cooling will be provided by a water source variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system which includes a ground source geothermal. The building design also includes full fire protection and alarm, electrical including an emergency backup generator, building technology and AV systems. The project also includes the abatement and demolition of the existing school building on the site, new access drives and parking areas, storm drainage, play fields and other site improvements
