Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is seeking a vendor to furnish and deliver B5, B10, and B20 biodiesel whose biofuel portion is made from waste grease, oils and fats as specified below. 1. B20 biodiesel is a blend of 20% B100 biodiesel and 80% Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel; B10 biodiesel is a blend of 10% B100 biodiesel and 90% Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel; B5 biodiesel is a blend of 5% B100 biodiesel and 95% Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel. The biodiesel component must be produced from 100% waste grease, oils and fats that meet the latest ASTMD6751 prior to blending with Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel. 2. Source of waste oil: To reduce the carbon footprint of the product, the B100 waste oil biodiesel must be sourced from food establishments, agricultural or other entities within 500 miles from Cambridge, Massachusetts. 3. Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) portion of the blend must meet the 15 parts per million (ppm) sulfur specification regulated by 40 CFR Part 80 and most recent amendments. 4. The B20 and B10 blended product must meet the latest version of ASTM D7467. 5. The B5 blended product must meet the latest version of ASTM D975. 6. At contract midpoint Vendor must provide test results prepared within previous 60 days by an independent certified testing lab verifying that the B100 biofuel and B5, B10, and B20 blends meet the standards noted above.
