Specifications include, but are not limited to: TASK 1: BACKGROUND 1.Kickoff meeting with relevant Town Staff to refine process, deliverables, and timeframe2.Assessment of existing code and regulations pertaining to short-term rentalsTASK 2: ASSESS COMMUNITY POSITION ON SHORT-TERM RENTAL REGULATION TROUGH COMMUNITY LISTENING SESSIONS AND POLICYMAKER FEEDBACK 1.Meet with and aid in the facilitation of a town-established steering committee to better understand the demand for and impact of short-term rentals on the community, the scope of existing regulations, considerations regarding wastewater infrastructure, and needs going forward. 2.Host up to two community forums/listening sessions on short-term rental regulations to get resident feedback on the regulation of short-term rentals.
