A. Work to be done includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services required to complete all irrigation work indicated on the Drawings, as specified herein, or both. B. As part of the bid, the system shall irrigate 8 existing multi-use natural grass fields from two new groundwater wells (provided by owner) using self-propelled traveler units (provided by owner) and quick coupling valves as shown on the plan. C. The mechanical points of connection for the irrigation system shall be to two new bedrock irrigation wells (pumps by others), rated at 10 gpm in aggregate, which will be used to refill a 15,000-gallon storage tank system. Storage tanks shall have a primary pump system to draw water from the tanks and deliver it to the irrigation system. Primary pump system shall include a new, variable speed pump and control system with enclosure. The primary pump system shall provide 70 gallons per minute, while providing 75 psi at the pump system discharge, 24-inches below finished grade at the new pump system skid. D. Primary pump shall be regulated by a variable frequency drive (VFD), located within a custom pump skid and enclosure as specified in this section, located generally where depicted on the drawings. E. Power supply for pump system shall be 208/120-Volt, 3-Phase, provided by Owner to the parking lot area of the site. Owner shall provide a circuit breaker at this location to service the primary pump system and well pumps. Well pump starters shall be included as part of the work of this contract.
