The Town of West Springfield is soliciting qualifications from General Contractors and Trade Contractors for the Coburn Elementary School Building project, an approximately 120,000 gross square foot ground up elementary school project at 15 Southworth Street in West Springfield, MA. The project includes all necessary sitework, utility work, material procurement, general construction, and demolition of the existing school as detailed in the project documents.
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be used to prequalify General Contractors and Filed Subcontractors for the above trades and will determine who will be invited to submit a bid pursuant to Section 44E and 44F of Chapter 149 of the Massachusetts General Laws. No drawings are being distributed or bids solicited with this request. Interested firms must submit a Qualification Statement by the deadline noted and be re-qualified if they are interested in later bidding on this project. Only the pre-qualified firms will be invited to submit bids for the category of work in which they were prequalified. A final list of prequalified General Contractors and Subcontractors will be determined by July 24, 2020 and notification to all respondents will be provided.
