The City of Lawrence, the Awarding Authority, by its Department of Public Works invites sealed bids from qualified contractors for the yearly removal and replacement of approximately 24.5 tons of virgin Granular Activated Carbon and the removal, reactivation and replacement of approximately 21 tons of custom reactivated Granular Activated Carbon for the City of Lawrence Water Treatment Plant located at 400 Water St. in Lawrence, MA. All bidding procedures shall conform to M,G.L. 39M, c.149, §§ 44A - L, and all bids are subject to minimum prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26-27H inclusive. Bids will be received until the deadline at the City Hall, Office of the City Clerk, above agency address. Bids shall be clearly marked on the outside of REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF VIRGIN GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON.
