The Work consists of Complete removal of the existing exterior two-story window system and doors indicated on the drawings. Windows (approximately 10,800± SF combination of fixed and operable) shall be replaced with new, energy efficient, commercial grade, thermally broken aluminum framed window systems with low-e, insulated glass panels. Insulated panels and louvers may be incorporated into some of the window assemblies. Window treatments shall also be replaced, as well as new casework against the windows in the classrooms. Doors shall be replaced with new thermally broken insulated metal doors and frames with fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) face sheets. New code compliant door hardware & weather stripping is also included. Perimeter sealants at the windows and doors shall also be replaced.
