The work performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to: a) Cleaning and/or redeveloping up to five (5) existing municipal drinking water supply wells no later than April 1, 2026 (unless extended in writing by the Town); b) Performing preliminary well and pump performance testing prior to removal; c) Removing, inspecting, cleaning, and reinstalling well pumps, motors, and column piping; d) Conducting video inspections of well casings and screens before, during, and after redevelopment; e) Furnishing and applying approved chemicals (e.g., muriatic acid, Pantonite PM77, polymers, chlorine) to restore specific capacity; f) Performing redevelopment and surging operations to improve well performance; g) Disinfecting wells in accordance with AWWA standards; h) Conducting specific capacity and pumping tests pre- and post-cleaning; i) Providing full documentation of test results, inspections, chemicals used, and equipment replaced; j) Responding to and performing emergency well repairs, including pump failure, at any of the Town’s 24 drinking water wells, during the contract period.
