Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the Massachusetts Vocational Technical Special Education Leadership competitive grant is to support with funding school districts that develop and implement a project designed to systematically coordinate special education service delivery with academic and vocational instruction. The goal of the Massachusetts Vocational Technical Special Education Leadership Institute is to provide vocational technical school administrators (i.e. special education, vocational and academic staff) with leadership skills in the improvement of educational outcomes for students with disabilities. The driving perspective of the Institute is the development and strategic implementation of a more coordinated system of special education service delivery between academic and vocational instruction.
