All work will follow the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and Guidelines for Archaeology and Historic Preservation, and specifically the Standards for Rehabilitation. Under the requirements of this grant funding, the NPS expects project work to meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. Please refer to the National Park Service Section 106 Review dated June 10, 2025, and the related Scope of Work narrative. Please also follow guidance in National Park Service Preservation Brief 9: The Repair of Historic Wooden Windows. Work items for the Historic Hardwick Town House Exterior Restoration Project are as follows: • Restoration of the CONCRETE SLAB at the building entrance • Replacement of the existing STORM WINDOWS and restoration of the existing WOOD WINDOWS • Replacement of existing ALUMINUM GUTTERS & DOWNSPOUTS • Restoration of deteriorated FASCIA • Restoration of the building’s EXTERIOR PAINT
