Specifications include, but are not limited to: Well cleaning, inspecting, removing the existing well pumps, and making needed repairs, replacement of the pump motor, evaluation of well packing and replacement if required, pre and post cleaning performance testing and televising (pre and post cleaning) of the well screen and reinstalling the pumping unit at two gravel-packed public drinking water supply wells (Tispaquin No. 2 & Spruce) in Middleborough, Massachusetts. The work also includes the demolition and disposal of an existing right-angle gear and Parco valve at the Tispaquin Pump Station. The cleaning and redevelopment of the wells must occur during the winter of 2022 (January through March only) when demand is low. The Tispaquin No. 2 Well was cleaned and redeveloped in 2010.
